African American Studies, or AFAM, offers an academic minor, and is home to the African American Studies Research and Resource Center (Paul Robeson Room). Additionally, we provide the regional Washington DC community access to dynamic programming.

AFAM to Host Telecast of Presidential Debate, and New Website, Mason Votes, Recently Launched!

African American Studies will host a telecast of the presidential debate on Wednesday October 15th at 8:30PM in the Johnson Center Atrium. The telecast will be followed by commentary from a panel of Mason faculty members.

(Note: The faculty members' names are TBA).

Also, a new website, Mason Votes, was recently launched as a portal to stay abreast of the latest happenings in the election sphere.
